Taiwan Visa Application Requirements

1. Passport with a minimum validity of the last 8 months + Old Passport
2. Sponsor Letter from Company addressed to “Taipei Economic and Trade Office”
3. Husband’s Consent Letter (if not traveling along, and attach a copy of Husband’s ID Card/KTP)
4. Copy of Financial Proof for the last 3 months
5. 2 sheets of recent color passport photos, size 4cm x 6cm (background must be white), 80% focus
6. Copy of ID Card (KTP)
7. Copy of Family Card (KK)
8. Copy of Marriage Certificate
9. Copy of Child’s Birth Certificate
10. Copy of Student ID Card / School Reference Letter
11. Copy of Name Change Certificate (if applicable)
12. Copy of SIUP (Business License, if applicable)
13. Print Out ticket

NOTES

Starting October 2016, citizens of Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, the Philippines, and Vietnam can apply online for an ROC Travel Authorization Certificate with the following requirements:

1. Southeast Asian citizens must apply for the ROC Travel Authorization Certificate on the website https://niaspeedy.immigration.gov.tw/nia_southeast/
2. The applicant’s passport must be valid for six months from the date of arrival in Taiwan.
3. The applicant must hold a round-trip plane or ship ticket.
4. The applicant has never been employed as a factory worker / laborer in Taiwan.
5. The applicant must possess at least one of the following documents issued by Australia, Canada, South Korea, New Zealand, any Schengen country, the United Kingdom, or the United States, Japan (sticker visa, not waiver) that has expired less than 10 years ago and has been used previously (Japan immigration stamp).
   • Valid temporary residence permit card or permanent residence permit card
   • Valid entry visa (electronic visa allowed)
   • Residence permit card or visa that expired less than 10 years before the date of arrival in Taiwan.
   • Must attach the old passport if the visa is in the old passport.
   • Applicants with a 1-word name must apply for a sticker visa.
