Egypt Visa Application Requirements

1. Passport with a validity of more than 6 months from the arrival date and old passport.
2. 2 sheets of recent color passport photos, size 4 x 6, with a white background, printed on photo paper with good quality print and clear appearance.
3. Financial proof for the last 3 months in the form of a photocopy of Bank Statement or Savings Passbook (from the front page showing the name and account number up to the last transaction page).
4. If the name printed on the passport is different, attach a photocopy of the Name Change Certificate.
5. Photocopy of Marriage Certificate.
6. Photocopy of Family Card (KK).
7. Original Ticket / print out of ticket reservation.
8. Itinerary during the stay in Egypt.
9. Hotel confirmation, for women traveling alone.
10. If children are traveling along and are still in school, attach a photocopy of Student ID Card and photocopy of Birth Certificate.
11. Form fully completed and signed by the applicant. For children who do not have an ID Card (KTP) yet, the form must be signed by both parents.
12. Visa applicants must appear in person at the embassy.
13. Sponsor letter in English on the letterhead of the company where the person concerned works, under the following conditions:
    • If there are other people/family members traveling along, state the name and status of those individuals.
    • If the position is General Manager, Director, President Director, or Commissioner, a photocopy of NPWP and SIUP must be included.
    • If owning a personal business and there is no company letterhead, the letter is typed on plain white paper with a shop stamp and attach a photocopy of NPWP and SIUP.
    • If sponsored by a child, attach a photocopy of the child’s Birth Certificate proving the relationship.
    • If sponsored by a son/daughter-in-law, attach a photocopy of the child’s Marriage Certificate and child’s Birth Certificate proving the relationship.
    • If retired, the letter is typed on plain white paper and signed by oneself.
